The B+B dew module is a universal, resistive evaluation electronics for detection of condensation for the dew sensors of the SHS series.
Basically this module with sensor is an electronic hygrostat for the high humidity range which is planned to detect dew and condensation formation on various objects. With the new innovative measuring principle and using SHS dew sensors with logarithmic characteristics, it is possible to capture the dew point threshold very precisely and immediately before condensate formation.
Typical areas of application
- For cooling ceilings to prevent condensation
- For indoor pools and shop display windows to keep the double glazing fog -free and prevent steaming-up
- In drinking water and industrial plants to detect „sweating“ of cold pipes
- In halls and storage facilities to detect condensation formation on cold outdoor walls or steel doors, or to protect the masonry
- In switch cabinets or in machines for humidity and leakage detectors: The potential free closed current contact is compatible to alarm units
- In submersible pumps for detecting leakage
