The digital humidity and temperature sensor HYT221 is splash water protected and suitable for outdoors because of its waterproof membrane filter, which is installed in a circular stainless steel tube.
The digital humidity and temperature sensor is dew resistant and temperature compensated with I²C interface. Further advantages are a low hysteresis, compensated linearity error and temperature drift. The sensor is mechanically robust, directly exchangeable without adjustment, and chemical resistant. The circular stainless steel tube can be installed in housing openings and can be sealed with an O-ring seal against the wall. In connection with the waterproof membrane filter you get a construction which even resists splash water and which enables housing constructions with high dynamic of the response characteristic.
