Air quality

In the field of air quality, B+B offers two different product categories. These are the thermal flow sensor and the flow module.

The thermal flow sensor is particularly suitable for flow measurement in gaseous media with freely selectable working ranges from 0...0.1 m/s to 0...100 m/s. This product is particularly impressive due to its very fast response times and short warm-up time.

The flow module, on the other hand, is an easy-to-use plug-and-play module that can be used to record non-linear and analogue output signals for a wide range of flow velocities of up to 50 m/s. This B+B flow module is a constant temperature anemometer (CTA) with a simple integrated amplifier circuit that can be used at ambient temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +85 °C.

Air quality - Frequently asked questions & answers

Yes, customised designs are available on request. Please note that due to the planning and implementation costs involved, we can only produce customised designs for orders with a minimum value of €500.00.

The FLW-122 achieves an accuracy of <3% of the measured value. However, this is highly dependent on the evaluation electronics used.

The module is compatible with FS5/7 and OOL flow sensors.

Air quality measurements primarily record pollutants such as particulate matter, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), as well as climatic parameters such as temperature, humidity and CO₂ concentration, in order to assess both outdoor and indoor air quality.
