Temperature modules

The temperature modules from B+B Thermo-Technik are characterised by high accuracy and good long-term stability. A wide variety of sensors, e.g. Pt100 and Pt1000, can be attached and deliver reliable results. The temperature modules then provide a linearly scaled output signal of 0…5 V/ 0…10 V / 4…20 mA or an I²C interface for evaluation.

Different designs ensure that they can be used in a wide variety of areas. Miniaturised transmitter modules (sensor modules) with ASIC technology are also available from B+B. The thermocouple modules are used in microcontrollers, measurement technology, industrial measurement and control technology, and temperature recording. Platinum temperature sensors are widely used in industrial temperature measurement. The non-linear behaviour of Pt sensors is corrected by the intelligent B+B temperature sensor module and output in the form of I²C or voltage.

Temperature modules - Frequently asked questions & answers

B+B temperature modules are small transducers on printed circuit boards, ideal for measuring temperatures over a wide range using a microcontroller, for example.

Temperature modules differ in several aspects, including: sensor type, accuracy and communication interfaces.
