Cable probes
Cable probes
B+B cable sensors are the right choice if you want to measure temperatures in liquid and gaseous media. Ideal applications include heating and air conditioning technology, as well as building automation. B+B cable sensors, on the other hand, feature integrated and pre-calibrated digital sensors for measuring temperatures in liquid and gaseous media. Ideal applications include heating and air conditioning technology, as well as building automation.
Digital cable probes
Our digital cable sensors are equipped with a DS18S20 sensor and a PVC/PUR connection cable. These sensors are sealed and can be used for brief contact with water. The Dallas temperature sensors used are semiconductor sensors, generally suitable for a temperature range of -55 to +125 °C.
Cable probe TSIC, ZACWIRE
The TSIC™ temperature sensors are characterized by their high accuracy, fast response, and exceptional long-term stability. Compared to other semiconductor temperature sensors, they offer an extended measuring range of –50...150 °C with a resolution of 0.1 K.
Cable probe with bayonet lock
B+B also offers special versions of the cable probe. These include the probe with a bayonet lock, which delivers highly precise measurement results thanks to the 2.252 kΩ NTC thermistor. Furthermore, the dimensionally stable compression spring ensures constant contact pressure of the probe tip in the borehole and also serves as a cable kink protection.
Floor probe
Floor probes also fall into the category of cable sensors. These are equipped with an NTC sensor and are also constructed with a protective sleeve made of polypropylene and a four-meter-long PVC cable (2-wire). This special design is particularly suitable for use in underfloor heating systems.
