Particularly in industrial and building automation, temperatures and humidity must be measured in locations that are often difficult to access. The B+B pendulum sensor is ideally suited for precisely this application. Accordingly, the sensor is housed in a separate, slim stainless steel tube, and the sintered filter provides ideal protection against contamination. While the sensor is integrated into the stainless steel tube, the transmitter electronics are housed in a plastic housing. The connection terminals are also located here.
The specific output signal for the measured temperature or humidity is available as 0...10 V or 4...20 mA (2-wire technology). Furthermore, the pendulum temperature/humidity sensor is also available with an e-paper display, allowing measured values to be read directly on the device.
Due to these technical features and its unique flexibility, this sensor is used particularly in industrial measurement and control technology, drying technology and the monitoring of bulk materials.
