Surface probes
The fast-acting surface probe is ideal for rapid temperature measurements on any type of surface. The spring-loaded measuring tip and thin copper plate guarantee excellent response time and reliable surface temperature measurements.
Generally, there are versions with a heat-resistant Type K thermocouple, making these variants suitable for high-temperature applications. Furthermore, we only use high-quality thermocouple materials and stainless steel in our production.
The B+B magnet probe
The magnetic surface probe is also ideal for measuring high temperatures on ferromagnetic or metallic surfaces. B+B equips this probe with a U-shaped magnet, which has an adhesive force of 90 N and can be connected to various measuring devices or data loggers. Typical applications include the automotive, mechanical engineering, test benches, engines, and transmissions sectors.
Self-adhesive surface probe
The measuring surface of the self-adhesive surface sensor (also called a foil sensor) consists of a self-adhesive foil that can be applied multiple times to the object to be measured. Furthermore, the thin wire diameter enables a fast response time.
Band surface probe
The strip surface probe (or "paddle probe") from B+B is ideal for a variety of measurements on different surfaces. Furthermore, this probe is equipped with a green coiled cable and a green connector in accordance with the European standard DIN EN 60584. Due to its design, this strip surface probe is also ideal for quick measurements in hard-to-reach places. The thin strip at the measuring tip guarantees an extremely fast response time.
