The thermocouple cable type K made of glass silk and stainless steel braiding can be used at operating temperatures from - 60 to + 350 °C. The cables are often used to extend thermocouples of the same type.
The two conductors of this thermocouple cable are made of the same alloy from which type K thermocouples (NiCr-Ni) are made. Therefore, the thermocouples have the accuracy class 1 (cl. 1) of the international standard DIN EN60584.
The extension of existing thermocouples (type K) is also possible and does not lead to any additional error in the measurement.
Note: For cable lengths under 10 meters, orders are wound up and delivered without a spool. For cable lengths from 10 meters upwards, we deliver on a spool.
