Pressure sensor modules

The pressure sensor modules or pressure transmitter modules provide the measured value as a calibrated and temperature-compensated digital I²C signal. An additional analogue output transmits the measured values as a linearised 0...5 VDC signal. Both signals can be tapped via the 5-pin pin header and transmitted directly to a microcontroller or controller.

Features of the pressure sensor modules

The pressure modules from B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH combine state-of-the-art sensor technology with flexible signal processing from an ASIC. The modules feature both a calibrated analogue voltage output of 0–5 V and a digital I²C interface. This can communicate directly with a microcontroller. Precise calibration at a total of 7 measuring points ensures outstanding precision and a very low residual temperature error.

The fully prepared, calibrated pressure measurement systems provide high-resolution pressure measurements, enabling easy integration into customer-specific products. The calibrated and standardised output signal guarantees simple integration of the subsystem during the development phase.

In this respect, the sensors are ideal for measuring static and dynamic pressures. Accordingly, typical areas of application are in pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial applications.

B+B pressure sensor modules are particularly common in food technology, pneumatics, building technology, petrol pumps, level measurement and ventilation control systems.
