The ceramic pressure sensors are characterized by excellent resistance to aggressive and corrosive media.
Furthermore, the pressure sensors are precisely temperature compensated and have a high long-term stability and burst pressure resistance. Different pressure sensor versions cover a pressure range from 1 to 50 bar, which can be used in a temperature range from -40 °C to 135 °C. The output signal is a pressure-dependent differential voltage which can be converted into a standard output signal of, for example, 0...10 V or 4...20 mA by simple signal amplification. The suitable evaluation electronics is available from B+B under the part number DS-MOD-10V or DS-MOD-20MA.
Typical applications are:
- Food technology,
- pneumatics,
- high pressure,
- gasoline pumps,
- gases,
- fuel cells, etc.
