The robust type K handheld temperature sensor has an ergonomic handle and is equipped with a 130 mm long immersion sleeve. The measuring insert based on a type K thermocouple enables the immersion probe to measure temperatures from -200 ° C to 1100 ° C. The temperature sensor is constructed with a type K helical cable (usable length approx. 1 meter) and a connected type K miniature plug, so that the handheld sensor can be connected to any evaluation unit that has a type K interface.
Typical areas of application:
- Laboratory equipment
- Quality assurance
- Incoming goods inspection
- Plastic industry
- Rubber industry
- Mechanical engineering
- Process monitoring
- Air conditioning and refrigeration technology
Already knew? The quality of the measurement result with thermocouples strongly depends on which materials are used. Basically, the measuring section from the thermocouple to the evaluation unit (including the connection cable and plug connector) should consist of thermal material. For cost reasons, some manufacturers save on thermal material without taking into account that the measurement result then also suffers. At B + B, the thermocouple sensors are built with high-quality thermal material over the entire measuring section.
