The resistance thermometer in the form of a screw-in probe enables temperature measurements in liquid and gaseous media.. A Pt100 temperature sensor according to DIN EN 60751, Class F 0,3 in two-wire circuit is used as measuring insert. The screw in sensor has an integrated transmitter which translates the resistance value of the pt100 into an 4...20 mA output signal.
On the process connection side the sensor has a screw thread G1/2 inch. On the output connection on the other hand the temperature probe has a M12 connector which ensures that that connection calbes are locked contact stable. Furthermore the srew in probe is designed to ensure the IP protection class IP65, thus the sensor enables temperature measurement in hazardous environments.
