Due to the magnesium oxide, the probes are encapsulated water- and vapor-tight and can withstand high pressures and temperatures up to 600 °C without any problems due to their design. Thanks to their robust design, the sensors are vibration-resistant and durable. Another major benefit: The sheathed measuring cable can be bent and thus individually adapted to the application and design.
More space is required, especially for sensors with threads, so-called screw-in sensors. In contrast to sheathed thermocouples, the protective sleeve of sheathed resistance thermometers can be bent and therefore offers the appropriate flexibility.
Typical areas of application:
- Mechanical and plant engineering
- Furnaces
- Chemical industry
- Engine testing
- Test benches
- Heating technology
- Medical and pharmaceutical industry
