The surface thermocouple type K (class 1) is predestined for measuring surface temperatures in a wide variety of applications. The surface thermocouple is fixed to the surface to be measured by means of a borehole (ø 4.5 mm). The cable of the surface thermocouple is protected against bending by means of a 60 mm long bending protection spring. The connection of the 3-meter-long glass-silk-insulated cable of the thermocouple is made via free ends.
