The innovative humidity and temperature probe uses a I²C-interface communication protocol. The probe is calibrated ex factory to a high measurement accuracy both for temperature (±0,2 °C) and humidity (±0,18 %RH) and an extensive temperature range up to 125 °C.
The humidity and temperature probe is ebcapsulated in a high quality stainless steel housing using a stainless steel sinter filter with pore size about 45 µm. the filter protects the sensors from mechanical damages and dirt and at the same time allows a relative rapid air circulation between the ambient air and the measurement chamber (good response time). The RJ12 Connector enables an easy and fast connection to our HYTELOG Multisensor interface. The digital I²C output signal can also be prcessed via a microcontroller (µC). The probe has standardly an I²C bus address 0x28. This can be changed with a µC or with the B+B I2C-USB interface adapter.
With the Hytelog humidity and temperature measuring system you have the option of connecting 3 sensors at the same time. The temperature or humidity sensors can be easily connected via the three RJ12 sockets. It only has to be considered that the sensors have different I²C addresses. When used with the Hytelog multisensor, only the addresses 0x28,0x29 and 0x2A are permitted.
Cable lengths of 10, 15, and 20 m are available under request.
